For all artists, good inspiration is the basic of creating a great art work. However the ideas are rare and hard to come up with. So here are some tips teaching you how to get your ideas fast and create the fantastic drawing.
Methods
1. Find the inspiration from nature.
From the long time in the past, the nature has always been the origin of art inspiration, such as: dancing, writing and drawing. Why not step out to the nature to find your own ideas from birds, trees, clouds and rivers? You can capture and draw the whole scene of a nature or just a bird waving its wings. Every time you connect with nature, you’ll bring back something new to add to your drawing collections.
2. Look back at your old works.
As Confucius said,” Consider the old, and you shall know the new”. Every time you go through your old drawings, you will find something related to it: your old ideas, how you create it, and the appreciations from others. All of these elements will show up to lead you finding the way of inspiration. Your ideas are not ran out, but buried by something, figure out to discover it.
3. Watch drawing tutorials lessons.
The drawing lessons tutorials teach you something new. A new trick, a new technique, a new style of drawing. Try it out in your own way. Create your own rendition of the art by using what you’ve learned. Not only will it offer an opportunity to practice what you’ve learned, but also you’ll come up with a new art when you’ve finished drawing.
4. Scour through your social media.
Every post or comment we like, share, or bookmark on the social media subconsciously projects our interests towards them. It could be a photograph or a quote or even your favorite scene from a movie. Everything of your social networks could be the source of your ideas. Why not look for drawing inspiration in something you once liked enough or something you just gave it a thumbs up?
5. Take a brainstorm with your artists fellows.
As an artist, connecting with the artist community goes a long way. Artists like you are constantly discussing the latest popularity and art products on various art platforms. Join them, borrow their ideas to create something new. Offer your own ideas for them to use.
